EEOC Publishes Update to EEO-1 Pay Data Reporting Proposal

Did you remember that, effective August 1, 2016, the DOL has published updates to two of the mandatory posters for employers to display at the workplace?
The updates apply to the Federal Minimum Wage and Employee Polygraph Protection (EPPA) postings.
No, the minimum wage has NOT changed. Instead, this update adds new information about nursing mothers and an employer’s obligation to allow reasonable time for mothers to express breast milk during working hours. In addition, the updated poster removes specific civil monetary penalty amounts in the enforcement section, and also cuts some text under the Child Labor section.
The EPPA poster displays a new telephone number and notes a change in the civil monetary penalties imposed on employers who violate the EPPA, removing the civil penalty limit of $10,000.00.
